Ahoy Sarah!
Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have a wonderful cruise planned as you take the high seas and journey between England and Spain!
Sarah, I'm happy to share a bit more information about drink packages on Disney Cruise Line vacations. First, it's worth noting that Disney Cruises
include sodas so if you're looking for a variety of non-alcoholic options, you don't have to worry about adding any additional package. You'll find these non-alcoholic options available at meals as well as on the pool deck. In fact, we like to bring our own insulated cups to fill at the drink stations and carry them with us around the ship!
My husband and I also enjoy a bottle of wine each night at dinner on our cruise vacations, so we usually take advantage of one of several drink packages offered. If you look at the
Onboard Gift options for your cruise, you'll be able to see
available packages for beer and wine. In addition, you can check after embarkation for any "Drink of the Day" deals that may be available on cocktails.
You can also choose to
pre-pay your gratuities ahead of your vacation. To do this, you'll want to select "My Reservations" from the Disney Cruise Line website and follow the provided prompts. If you choose not to pre-pay, the standard gratuities will be added to your onboard account during your trip. You'll receive slips noting your pre-paid gratuities in your room the day before you disembark as well as envelopes that you can place those papers in to give to the designated crew members. If you'd like to give additional gratuity for exceptional service, you are welcome to add to the pre-paid amount.
Sarah, I hope this helps to answer your questions so you are all set for smooth sailing on your upcoming cruise! If you have any other questions, please "just keep swimming" back to planDisney again!
Cheers,
Kristi
