    Does Disney offer discounts for military families?

    Alvin:

    Absolutely!

    You'll find what Disney offers active and retired military here. Currently, Disney is saluting the Armed Forces with a 4-Day Walt Disney World Armed Forces Salute Ticket for military personnel and up to five family members or friends for $99. Best of all, you can upgrade the ticket to a park hopper or a Water Park Fun & More ticket for just $25 more per option (that's over 50% off)! (Be mindful that you'll need to be present with your friends or family members to activate the tickets at the gate.)

    You may also want to look into Shades of Green, a resort for military-only housed on the Disney campus. The resort's rates are based on your rank and park transportation is provided via buses. You can find out more about it at: www.shadesofgreen.org.
