    Does Disney offer any discounts on hotels or tickets during the 2016 Disney Marathon event?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shana! 

    While there are no discounted Resort Hotel rooms or discounted theme park tickets available directly through runDisney for the 2016 Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna®, there are still ways for you to save on your accommodations.

    Here are some tips to help you find a great deal:

    • Room-only Special Offers available through the Walt Disney World® Resort website - Discounts for dates that included Marathon Weekend should be released in September or October and will be available on the official Walt Disney World® Resort website. These promotions can offer you savings of 25%-35% off full rates depending on where you choose stay. This is a great deal if you're willing to be patient on booking your room. 

    • runDisney Travel Providers offer not only discounted rooms, but discounted theme park tickets as well! I've used Get Sports Travel myself and I've always been very happy with my pricing, service and resort room. For more information on this option, visit the event page on the runDisney website for the Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend presented by Cigna®. From there, select the REGISTRATION tab and then select Travel Providers. This will give you the list of approved providers to begin pricing your magical race-cation.
