Hi Amy,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your vacation planning question. First, I want to thank you for being a foster parent and opening your home and heart to children in need. Foster parents like yourself are a blessing to the world and are an example of real-life superheroes.
Vacationing at Walt Disney World with
Preschoolers & Little Ones,
Tweens and Teens, and even
Adults Who are Young at Heart can be a magical experience that everyone will remember for years to come. Currently there are many
Special Offers available for discounts on Walt Disney World vacations and I recommend "bookmarking" that page and checking often as they are updated routinely. Usually the special offers pertain to visits in the next few months so if you are planning on vacationing farther out, then be sure to go back and recheck that page when you are less than six months from your visit. Personally, in the past I have booked a vacation for the following year and when the special offers were released I was able to apply (or rebook) to take advantage of the special offer. Often quantities are limited for some of the offers so I recommend acting quickly once you see a special offer that pertains to your vacation.
Amy even though there aren't any special offers regarding foster children at the moment, you should know that if you are bringing Mouseketeers under the age of 3 then they will be a Guest of Mickey Mouse and do not need a theme park ticket. Additionally,
Theme Park Tickets for children ages 3-9 are a little less expensive than ages 10 and up.
Have a Magical vacation and please come back and visit us again with any further vacation planning questions, we are always happy to help!
Brenda
