Does Disney offer a discount on the Epcot fireworks cruise for either Disney Visa cardholders or annual pass holders?

    Howdy Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney. The EPCOT Fireworks Cruise is definitely one of the few things I have not had the opportunity to experience yet, but it is definitely on my to-do list. I have had a few friends who have done this amazing experience, and they absolutely rave about it.

I am also a Disney Visa cardholder and Annual Passholder, so I was able to do some sleuthing to see what is available. One of the cool new features of the My Disney Experience app is that you can see which discounts and perks are currently available for both. As of right now, I have not seen any discounts available for the fireworks cruise. One of the things I’ve learned over the years, though, is that you never know when a new perk or discount will become available, so let me show you how to keep an eye out for them in the app. From the app’s home screen, scroll down to find The Passholder Buzz and tap Learn More. Here you can find the most up-to-date perks, tips, tools, and more available to you, including the current Passholder Discounts. By the way, they just announced that the next Passholder magnet will be Toy Story themed. Next, scroll down a little further, and you should see the Disney Visa Cardmember Perks image, and you can tap on See Perks to learn more. One quick thing to note: you do need to add your card to your MyDisney Wallet in the app for this option to appear.

Your departure for your fireworks cruise is from the Bayside Marina at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort. There, you will find a friendly cast member who will be able to show you the designated parking area for strollers while you are on the cruise. One thing I highly recommend is placing an identifying tab or handkerchief on it so you can easily find it when you return. I remember that when my kids were in strollers, I couldn’t believe how many people had the exact same one as we did.

Alrighty, so since you are going to be near Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you have to stop by Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. It would be the perfect place to stop by prior to your fireworks cruise. What most people do not know is that they have a to-go window where you can get a limited menu of some of their most popular food and treats so you do not have to worry about trying to get a reservation.

Jennifer, I hope that you and your family have a magical time on your fireworks cruise. Please feel free to come back here at planDisney anytime you have a planning question.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
