does Disney offer deep sea fishing??

Hello Robin and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Since the Walt Disney World Resort is some distance from either the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico, there are no Disney sponsored excursions that originate from Walt Disney World. However, freshwater catch-and-release fishing is available. You can experience a guided boat trip across one of Walt Disney World's lakes which will include everything you need to catch "the big one."

If your heart is set on deep sea fishing, I would recommend a Disney Cruise Line vacation! When in port in the Bahamas, you can enjoy the First Strike Deep Sea Fishing Excursion. Many other cruise destinations have a variety of fishing experiences as well.

And, of course, while visiting the Magic Kingdom you can venture under the sea with our favorite mermaid, Ariel!

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
