    Will Disney still offer Airport shuttle to and from Orlando International Airport as of 10/1/2022 if you are staying at a Disney Resort? It will drastically alter my trip plans if they do not.

    Hey there, Courtney. Welcome to planDisney. 

    Walt Disney World no longer provides complimentary transportation from the airport to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and back again. This service ended at the start of this year. Luckily, there are still many ways to get to Walt Disney World that Guests are finding easy and convenient to navigate. 

    Here are a few ideas:

    • Rideshare services - rideshare companies are always readily available from the Orlando International Airport. I've never had to wait long for one and they can drop you off right outside the lobby of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that you are staying at
    • Renting a car - I've rented a car many times from the Orlando airport. It's not all that costly and I like to convenience of having my own vehicle to get around. Keep in mind that the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels do charge for overnight parking so this is something you would have to budget additional for
    • Mears Connect - Mears is the company that Walt Disney World serviced out the Magical Express to. When their contract ended, they decided to offer their own services. I think this is what most people are using right now and they do have really good reviews so far 
    As you can see there are still plenty of ways to get to Walt Disney World, and there are even more that I haven't mentioned. Those just happen to be a few of my personal favorite ways right now. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
