Does Disney off bed rails for toddlers? My son is 3 years old. Do they offer fans for the rooms? I know all rooms have AC (I stayed at Coronado Springs on my honeymoon) but my husband needs a louder fan in order to sleep.

    Hi Ashlee,

Thank you for asking a question here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is my pleasure to help you out so that your Walt Disney World vacation is as magical as possible.

In regards to the bed rails, you are in luck! I have requested them on more trips than I can remember with all of my children. Simply make the request by calling (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) and having the cast member making a notation on your reservation. Be sure to have your confirmation number handy. Once you check-in to your resort hotel, be sure to mention this again. Someone from housekeeping should bring a set of rails to your room, if they aren't already in there.

I do not believe that portable fans are available, but it never hurts to ask. We often bring a small noise maker with us, as my youngest son needs it to sleep. So, you might consider that option. Ours is no bigger around than a salad plate and is pretty lightweight for travel. We found ours at our local big box retail shop.

Have a magical time seeing the wonder and excitement of Disney through your son's eyes. It will be a completely different, but equally as fun, experience as your honeymoon.
