    We will be in Disney October 19th & plan on going to MK, Epcot & AK. This is our first trip we will be there with our 3 & 5 yr old daughters. Should we plan a full day in Epcot or AK? We will be leaving at 3or 4p the last day.

    Hi Erika! You will be experiencing the Disney magic in just a few short weeks and I am sure everyone in your family is very excited.

    The Magic Kingdom will certainly be the main park of your visit with your two daughters. They will love all the Disney princesses and the characters that are throughout the park as well as the many great attractions. I am glad to see that you have thoughts about visiting other parks during your stay.

    We usually like to spend time in Animal Kingdom park until mid day. If we go when the park opens we seem to be able to do everything we want in that amount of time.  Be sure and visit Rafiki's Planet Watch at some point. It is a short train ride to a special section where you can meet and greet real animals as well as characters. My grandchildren love to brush the goats and sheep and there is usually a naturalist with some sort of exotic animal to learn about.  Sometimes there is also a vet on duty who can answer their questions. It is worth the ride for a visit. If you choose one show I strongly recommend the Lion King show which is my favorite of all four parks. Stop for lunch at the Flametree Barbecue and take your food down the path to eat on the shores of the lake.

    Epcot is the park that would likely take longer to visit. It is broken down into two sections, Future World and the World Showcase. Future World will be where you will find the majority of the attractions. Don't miss Turtle Talk With Crush and also check out Innoventions for the girls. Try nabbing a dining reservation or two in the World Showcase. The pizza is amazing at Via Napoli but I think the girls would love the Teppan Edo Japanese dining where they cook on the table in front of you. Each country will also have a craft spot that they might also enjoy!
