We are going to Disney in October and I was looking can we just buy the 2 day ticket with hopper pass to get into all the parks?

Boo to you, Melissa! I'm so happy that you found us here at planDisney. We are your one-stop resource for all things Disney vacation planning.

October is a wonderful time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. If you can believe it, some of the fall decorations are already adorning Main Street, U.S.A.! But by the time you're here, Magic Kingdom Park will be all decked out for the season. And speaking of Magic Kingdom Park in October, be sure to check to see if Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is being offered during the dates you are there. This is a can't-miss event with trick-or-treating, exclusive character meet and greets, one of the best (if not the best) parades in all of Walt Disney World, specialty entertainment, and so much more!

I have good news for you! Purchasing a 2-day theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option will allow you to hop between all four parks. I did this with my husband and friend last year and while it was a very busy 2 days, we got to all 4 parks in 2 days. Just note that at this time, Park Hopping hours do not begin until 2 p.m., and you have to visit the first park for which you made your Theme Park Reservation (required until January 9, 2024) before you can tap into another park. Be sure to follow along with the Disney Parks Blog leading up to your trip in case there are any other updates before you arrive!

If you are a fan of nighttime spectaculars like I am, I would highly recommend ending one of your days at Disney's Hollywood Studios to see Fantasmic! and another day at Magic Kingdom Park to see my favorite show, Happily Ever After. Also, if you want to get as much done as possible in your limited amount of time at the parks, I'd recommend you purchase the Disney Genie+ Service and Individual Lightning Lanes. These services will allow you to skip over the main standby queue for a shorter wait in the Lightning Lanes. You'll also want to see what rides have a Virtual Queue when you are there. At this time, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT and TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise at Magic Kingdom Park offer Virtual Queues, but you'll want to check back to see if that's still the case closer to your travel dates.

Melissa, I wish you the best trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the spookiest time of year. If you have any other questions, I'm always happy to help!

    Beware of hitchhiking ghosts,
    Matt
