We are going to Disney on October. I'm thinking of taking my daughter (11) to High Tea at the Grand Floridain. I was wondering about something for the boys in my family - my husband, my 9 year old, my 6 year old and possibly including our almost 4 year ol

Hello Sara!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  An afternoon tea with your daughter sounds practically perfect in every way!  Having a daughter myself, I know just how special those mother daughter moments are.

If it were me, I'd send the guys in your family to the ESPN Club on Disney's BoardWalk.  It's pretty much a man's paradise.  At the ESPN club, you'll find more than 100 television monitors throughout the restaurant.  Even if one of them needs to use the restroom, they wont miss a moment of the big game. Yep, you guessed it, televisions are in there too.  Not to mention how great the food is.  It's the ultimate place to get some manly man food like nachos, chicken wings, and "Boo-Yah!" chili.  After they fill up their bellies, the fun can continue on down the boardwalk at the arcade.  There, your family will find all kinds of sports themed video games that are perfect for kids of every age.  They could even finish off their guys day out with some ice cream from Seashore Sweets' also on the BoardWalk.

Without having to go very far, your boys can have a fantastic and memorable afternoon on the BoardWalk while you and your princess enjoy some time just the two of you.  I hope this gives you an idea of the fun that's to be had for just the boys!  If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
