Hi Chantelle!
Halloween as well as any other holiday is a special time when visiting Walt Disney World. Mickey and his friends love parties and it is one reason they put on a great show for
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. This special event allows the guests to see special characters, parade, fireworks, and trick or treat throughout the park. Unfortunately, the party held on the 31st is the first one to sell out each year and it is a sold out event again this year.
If you are a resort guest you can be sure that the resorts will have some special activities on that day. Each resort makes their own plans so while some might have trick or treating others might have candy hunts or scavenger hunts. The resort activities are specifically for their guests and some resorts will even have a hard close to their property allowing only dining reservation guests and their resident guests to participate and be at the resort.
If you are staying at a resort be sure and pick up their recreation activities for Halloween. If you are not a resort guest your only other option would have been the special party in the Magic Kingdom which is sold out. Disney Springs does not have trick or treating but it will be open for all guests to enjoy the dining and entertainment you can find there each day.
I hope you are able to have some special Halloween fun this year!
