We're going to Disney in October 2017. I've book 3 ADRs (1 breakfast and 2 dinners). I can't decide if buying the dining plan is a good choice....what is the big advantage of a dining plan? Thanks!

Hello, Heather and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

How excited you must be about your trip to Walt Disney World Resort; I’m happy to hear you are contemplating a Disney Dining Plan package.

We always select a Disney Dining Plan package for every Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Each plan is designed with a specific touring style in mind, for example, do you enjoy buffet, all-you-care-to-eat Table-Service dining at a set time? Then the Magic Your Way Plus Dining or Deluxe Dining is the option for you. Or, do you enjoy spontaneous eating during your touring at one of many Quick-Service venues at the Disney Resort hotels, Disney Springs or Theme Parks? Then the Magic Your Way Plus Quick-Service Dining would be a perfect choice. It’s all up to you and what your preferences are.

Does a Disney Dining Plan package save you money? I believe it does, as appetites always seem greater and thirst quenching higher during our visits. Just compare the price of one Disney Character Meal to what a Disney Dining Plan may cost for one person per day and you'll quickly see how it does save you money.

Best of all, adding a Disney Dining Plan package creates an inclusive, pre-paid vacation fostering a more carefree experience, not to mention the added flexibility of dining at over 150 venues on property.

Mom’s Tip: Whatever you decide, Heather don’t forget the rest of your Advanced Dining Reservations with My Disney Experience.

Best Disney Dishes and Wishes, Heather!
