    We are going to Disney in Oct 08, we are staying at the Caribbean Resort we are told all construction will be complete, we have booked a premium room. This is probably a once in a life time but need to keep it moderate is the Caribbean a good choice?

    It’s a GREAT choice! Your family will truly enjoy the Caribbean Beach Resort. It’s a tropical oasis that offers many amenities. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and look forward to a return visit.

    You’ll benefit from the new pool which will be pirate themed. And you’ve done great by booking a premium room so you’ll be close to Old Port Royale’s restaurants, pool and store.

    The layout of the resort with courtyards and meandering paths gives the impression of being quaint despite its vast size. Our entire family loved our stay at this resort.

    The sandy beaches provide a nice place to relax and/or a playgrounds for the kids. Barefoot Bay which is the 40-acre lake in the middle of the resort is beautiful. Relax in a hammock, play beach volleyball or rent a watercraft. You can also rent bikes to circle the 1.4 mile promenade.

    There are outdoor tables and benches available for outdoor dining or resting in many of the courtyards that you’ll come across while wandering in your village. We enjoyed having an ice cream snack at a table near our room.

    The food court is pleasantly themed with comfortable indoor seating. There are also outdoor tables in a lovely plaza.

    After checking in at the Customs House, you’ll find that the rooms are pleasantly decorated with bright Caribbean colors. This resort also offers the largest rooms in the moderate hotel category at WDW!
