    We are going to Disney Oct 26-30. We have a reservation at the whispering canyon cafe at 5:30 on sat. I also want to take my boys on the Pirate Pals cruise that night. We would have to be at the Contemporary resort by 7:45. Do you think we can make it?

    Hi Dee!

    Generally speaking, I would plan on spending an hour in the Whispering Canyon Cafe.  Then it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to get from the restaurant to the Contemporary Resort.  That assumes you walk directly to the Wilderness Lodge boat dock without stopping along the way!  The 30 to 45 minutes includes waiting for a boat; if you're lucky, a boat will be sitting at the boat dock and then it will take a lot less time.

    So if you don't need to check-in for Pirates and Pals until 7:45, then the answer is "yes", you'll have no problems.  If you're running late, you can take a taxi from the Wilderness Lodge to the Contemporary Resort.  It's about a 5 minute ride between the two and relatively inexpensive!

    The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a great family restaurant!  Enjoy!
