My DS(6) and I are going to Disney Oct. 25-Nov. 1. We are using the Magical Express. Would you recommend using the ME luggage tags and having them deliver the luggage to our room or getting the luggage ourselves? I'm worried we won't receive our bags.

When we visited Walt Disney World in June, our family  used Disney's Magical Express service.

I placed the DME luggage tags on our bags and absolutely loved not having to go to Baggage Claim at the Orlando International Airport.

We had placed in our carry-on bags any items that we would need prior to the luggage arriving our room. For example, we made sure to have swim suits with us!

From the time our plane landed until our luggage arrived our room was approximately 2.5 - 3 hours. I'm not sure on the exact arrival time as our family was lounging at the pool but when we returned to our room, the bags had been placed in our room.

However, it's your vacation and you should bring your bags with you if you would be too stressed to leave them behind. You would go to Baggage Claim and then the Disney's Magical Express desk for your bus assignment. The bus driver will place your luggage in the cargo compartment. At your resort, the driver will get your bags out and at this time, you should tip for the help with your bags.

Many guests arriving late at night also choose to get their luggage themselves so they have everything they need right away.

Next week when we travel to WDW for the Expedition Everest 5K Challenge, we are renting a car at the Orlando International Airport so we'll be getting our luggage ourselves.
