Going to Disney in Oct. 08 for first family trip w/ my husband, 9 and 6 yr. old daughters & 22 month old son. Between O'hana's and Kona's Rest. (Polynesian) which one do you think would be best in terms of food & atmosphere for the kids? Thank You

My vote goes to 'Ohana.  The entertainment they have for kids in the dining room is pretty tough for Kona to beat!  When my kids were there last year they enjoyed the coconut races, the limbo, and a "parade" reminiscent of a Conga line that snaked it's way throughout the entire restaurant.  Our server was very kid-friendly, offering to bring out mac'n'cheese for the little ones among our party of ten that didn't care so much for the standard menu items.

I must say that Kona is good too.  The food was tasty, for sure, but there was nothing especially geared to the kids at far as atmosphere is concerned.  It was very, very loud in there too (more so than 'Ohana even) and my kids had a hard time with that.

Good luck with your decision.  Aloha!
