We are going to Disney in Oct from the 15-19. I have a daughter turning 8 while we are there, along with a 4 year old and a10 month old. Any thoughts for us so it will be a great vacation? We are staying at Bay Lake. Thanks!

    HI there KAthy!

There are lots of things you all can do! Your kids are going to have a blast! Here is a list of my kids' favorite rides and shows at all four of the Walt Disney World Parks. I like to make a spreadsheet with the dates that I am going using the Disney on-line calendar for each individual park and date. That way I know when the parades and shows occur.

    Magic Kingdom...
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Tomorrowland Speedway, Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World, and Pirates of the Caribbean, Space, Big Thunder and Splash Mountains, PhilharMagic
Don't miss: Both Parades, Wishes Fireworks, and catch a Dream Along With Mickey Show!

    Hollywood Studios...
Muppet Vision 3D movie, Toy Story Mania!; Lights, Motors,  Rock-n-Roller Coaster, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Shows: Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, Beauty and the Beast, “Disney Junior - Live on Stage!”
    Don't miss: Fantasmic!

    Epcot...
Soarin', The Seas with Nemo and Friends (specially Turtle Talk with Crush), Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Innoventions, Journey into Imagination with Figment, and World Showcase
Don't miss: Illuminations: Refections of Earth

    Animal Kingdom...
Kilimanjaro Safari, Kali River Rapids, Maharajah Jungle Trek, Pangani Forest Exploration Trail, Triceratops Spin, Dinosaur the ride, and Everest!
Shows: Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo - The Musical

Check the times guide when you arrive so that you know what time all of the parades and shows start.

The Parks are large so you may not get to do everything on the list. The most important thing to remember is to have fun plan ahead and know where all of the rides are prior to arrival! Ask your child which rides he/she wants to go on and do those first... I hope you have a Magical Time! If you have any other questions we are here to help!
