We will be at disney on NYE and plan to watch the college football playoffs (if our team makes it). How busy is ESPN usually @ boardwalk on New Year's Eve? Would you recommend trying to go there or another place to make sure we get in on time to watch?

    Hi Ashley,

I do believe it will be very busy at the ESPN Club at Disney's Boardwalk on New Year's Eve. Honestly, I believe most places at the Walt Disney World Resort will be busy on New Year's Eve! If your team makes the playoffs, I do think you have some options.

I do think the ESPN Club will be busy but it could be a fun atmosphere to watch the game. If it's too crazy, many of the resorts have lounges with several televisions. I like the Territory Lounge at Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort and The Crew's Cup Lounge at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. If the lounges don't appeal to you, Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Disney Springs often hosts NFL game day parties so possibly they will have events for the college playoffs. I think many of my fellow panelists would agree that the food and atmosphere at Splitsville is fantastic!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be sure to let us know if we can help you with any other questions!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
