We'll be at Disney for 14nt/15 days HOORAY! in August. Is there a price difference in "Extending" park passes or buying an additional day? I saw the term extending at the hotel and I thought this might be referring to a less expensive option?

    Hi Tricia!

You are such a great bargain hunter!  You can save LOADS of money by upgrading your tickets to include extra days.  Disney likes to use the phrase, "the longer you play, the less you pay!"  Rather than paying full price for an extra day's ticket, by adding days you can often pay as little as $5 plus tax per extra day.  It is very important to note that you must have at least one day left on your pass in order to upgrade.

However, in your case, you pay come out better purchasing an Annual Pass.  Annual Passholders can often get up to 45% or more off of hotel rooms, as well as many other great benefits.   Mousesavers.com has an excellent chart that compares a vacation with and without the use of an Annual Pass.  Have a fabulous two weeks in the most magical place on Earth!!!
