We are going to Disney in November and are planning on staying at the Contemporary. We are travelling with a 6 and 3 1/2 year old. Does the daybed open up to a twin sized bed or is it as small as it looks in the pictures? And can you get guard rails?

Hi Kathy! The Contemporary day beds will sleep an adult comfortably so they are not all that small as they appear in pictures. The resorts do have guard rails available on request but they cannot be guaranteed due to the limited number they all have. I have never had any difficulty in getting them for our visits but would suggest you can always use suitcases set next to the bed if you are unable to get the rails. This has worked for us in the past as a temporary fix!
