    We are going to Disney in November and are making Dinner Reservations at California Grill so that we can eat and see the fireworks. According to the Disney Site, the fireworks are at 9:00. Is 7:30 a good time to reserve a table?

    Hi Jennifer:

    California Grill and Wishes are wonderful experiences on their own.  Combining the two experiences is sublime, but requires some planning. 

    From my experience, dinner at California Grill lasts up to an hour and a half or longer, especially if you order appetizers, dessert, and linger over coffee or an after dinner drink.  For my family, we usually try to secure a reservation about a half hour or an hour before Wishes.  Work with your server, but service is generally timed so that food is not served if you choose to view Wishes from the restaurant roof deck.  In your case, the 7:30 reservation should be a good time.  In the worst case scenario and you finish your meal before Wishes, you are still welcome to watch Wishes from the restaurant roof deck.
