Hi! We are going to Disney November 30- December 6! (yay!) We are staying at Art of Animation. I was wondering if the pools are open year round and if people actually swim in December! Thanks

    Hi Jackie!

You will be happy to know that all of the pools remain open year round at Walt Disney World Resorts! My family and I stayed at Disney's Art of Animation Resort last January, and the weather was warm enough to hit the pools. (The weather was so nice, I actually bought a bathing suit in the gift shop).  Don't worry if it is a little cooler, all the pools are heated! The "Big Blue"is the largest pool in all of Walt Disney World Resorts,  and it features a "zero entry" feature which is great for the little ones. My 3 year old loved laying in the shallow area. The splash zone is also great and it features the loveable Finding Nemo characters.  Don't forget to check out the Cozy Cone Pool in the Cars area. It is less crowded and just as fabulous. The Cone Cabanas are also a nice feature and best of all they are free!

Hope this helps! If I can assist you with any other planning questions, please feel free to send them my way!

    Happy Planning!
