Hi Moms, Disney Nov 27-Dec 6th!!! I have a DS 3 and DD 2. We are planning on doing MK all day on Dec 5th with a nap (hopefully) and the MVMCP that night. Is this to much MK in one day? And do we have to exit and re-enter with our MVMCP tickets?

    Heather:

On the two occasions our family has gone to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, we have spent all day--and all night--at the Magic Kingdom.  But I don't think you ever can get enough of the Magic Kingdom, especially if you have little ones who need a nap!

With that said, however, if you are planning on spending another day at the Magic Kingdom, this might be the day to consider visiting Animal Kingdom, especially if you don't have Park Hopper Tickets.  It's a park that can be done in 1/2 a day, and you won't feel guilty leaving to take a nap.  It may also allow you to forgo any worry about a Magic Kingdom hangover or allow you to find the places you want to re-visit for the Christmas party.

If you decide to stay all day at the Magic Kingdom, you don't have to exit and be re-admitted for the party.  Around 4 p.m., you'll begin to see Cast Members set up in the rose garden near the Plaza Restaurant and in areas near the traffic circle on Main Street.  When you show them your ticket, you'll get a wrist-band for the party.  After 7 p.m., guests who don't have the wrist band will be asked to leave the park.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
