I am going to Disney Nov 19-23 2013. I am concerned about my son being able to see santa. I know the Very Merry Christmas party will be going on the 21 and 22, but im wondering about downtown disney. Will Santa already be there.

    Hi Kelly!

The holiday season is an excellent time to visit Walt Disney World!  The festive lights and decorations, yummy treats and the visiting the big man himself all makes this a magical time to go.  You are correct, Santa Claus can be found at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on select nights in the Magic Kingdom. He also been available for photo opportunities during regular park hours, just next to City Hall located on Mainstreet, U.S.A.

Santa can also be found in Epcot and Downtown Disney as well.  Santa will usually make his first appearance in Downtown Disney the Friday before Thanksgiving.  You will find him in front of The World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney Marketplace.  Santa Claus is also available for photo opportunities at The American Adventure in Epcot, although he typically isn't available until the Friday after Thanksgiving.  With Thanksgiving coming later than normal this year, their appearances could be sooner due to the late timing of the holiday.  Be sure to check back with us or a cast member when you arrive who will be happy to let you know where to find Santa during your stay.

I hope this helps and please let me know if I can help you with anymore of your Walt Disney World vacation plans.

    Best Wishes!
