Céad míle fáilte (Irish for a hundred thousand welcomes) to planDisney today, Stephen. As an Irish woman, I felt compelled to investigate your question!
While the whole of Ireland turns green in anticipation of the upcoming bank holiday to celebrate St Patrick's Day, I couldn't find any green-tinged Mickeys at the Disney Store either. As
Mickey Easter plushes are available, it seems unlikely (but not impossible) that they will be released this year.
Now, there's an old saying in Ireland that goes, "What's meant for you won't pass you by." Perhaps the 2024 St. Patrick's Day Mickey plush was not meant to be. Instead, let's look at other options to sham-rock your St. Patrick's Day celebrations!
Walt Disney World typically offers a range of charming (and, yes, usually green) eats and sips throughout March. There is mighty craic to be had at the St. Patrick’s Festival, held at
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant. The full details have yet to be released, so please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. You can expect to enjoy the very best of (flown-in) Irish talent accompanied by classic Irish fare. If you’ve been before, you know the atmosphere is electric. And if you haven’t been, perhaps, this could be your year.
No matter how you celebrate Lá Fhéile Pádraig, I hope it's filled with luck and laughter. I'm sorry I couldn't offer you a link to the plush you wanted, but who knows, the luck of the Irish may be with us next year.
All the best, Stephen. You are always welcome here at
planDisney with any other Walt Disney World questions!
