I’ve been on a Disney 3-night cruise and am familiar with rotational dining. Now we are planning a 7-night European cruise and wonder if the menu repeats itself the next time one’s rotation repeats - is the menu for night 4 the same as night 1?

Ahoy, Nan! I'm thrilled you've made planDisney a partner with you as you navigate your Disney vacations. I'm also excited that you are venturing into the world of 7-night cruises. My family started with 3-night itineraries and worked our way up to the longer sailings. My only caution: you will not want to go back. The shorter cruises are ideal for a long weekend or quick escape, but the 7-night cruises have such a magical vibe. You have time to relax, unwind and feel like you can do nothing without missing a thing!

Depending on when you are cruising, you will likely be on the Disney Fantasy or the Disney Dream. You will have a different menu each night, with each restaurant featuring two different standard menus (think "Night 1" and "Night 2") and the same menu in all the restaurants on Pirate Night or the themed evening for your cruise. The Night 1 and Night 2 menus remain true to the style of the restaurant, but they are different. For example, I absolutely love French Onion Soup and Oven Baked Salmon Royale at Royal Court, which is typically on the first night menu. The second night becomes even more majestic: lobster night! Dining that's worthy of Disney's finest princesses and princes. Animator's Palate menus have the flair of the Pacific Islands, and Enchanted Garden is like an afternoon among the roses, inspired by the beauty of nature.

If you are on the Disney Fantasy, you will also find the entertainment in Animator's Palate transforms on the second night with Animation Magic. This show is exclusive to the Fantasy and Magic.

The 7-night cruises also have dress-up nights, including formal and semi-formal evenings. Whether you prefer to don your finest or stay cruise casual, you will enjoy the elegance of these events.

Nan, once you are onboard and connected to the ship's wi-fi, you can see the menus for each restaurant by day with your dining rotation. I hope this information helps, and you are all aboard for a magical seven nights at sea! If you have any other questions, you know we love seeing you here at planDisney. You've got a friend in us!

    Magic Awaits!
