going to Disney next year my dad has right leg missing also half of left leg and just had a kidney transplant will he be able to get a das card or gac card he will need assistance onto rides and attractions also a special diet thank you for help

Hi, Richard!  Your dad sounds a lot like my dad, and he always loved how accommodating the cast members at Walt Disney World were when he traveled to the theme parks with his multiple disabilities.

The Disability Access Services card will offer guests a return time to an attraction based on the current wait time at the attraction.  That means if there is a 60 minute wait, you will be given a return time to come back in about the same amount of time.  You don't say whether or not your father uses a wheelchair or walks on prosthetic legs, but some attractions have vehicles that will accommodate a guest in a wheelchair, while others will stop the attraction to help guests transfer to a ride vehicle.

I have always found that Walt Disney World is one of the most accommodating places for guests with disabilities, and I have complete confidence in the new DAS system.  Additionally, when you make your dining reservations, you can let them know you have special dietary needs, and most times, a member of the culinary team will come to your table to discuss how they can best meet those needs.

I hope the trip you'll have with your dad gives you both many wonderful moments together!
