I will be in Disney next week and was wondering due to the pandemic, am I able to have my luggage transferred from Coronado Springs to Animal Kingdom Lodge or do I have to bring it myself?

    Welcome to planDisney, Teresa!

Moving from Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge during your Walt Disney World vacation? Bravo! Having stayed at both of those, I must say that is a wonderful blend of two uniquely themed Resort hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection. Between the splashtastic Lost City of Cibola pool that features a 50-foot Mayan pyramid at Coronado Springs to the savannah views at Animal Kingdom Lodge, the two stays will make for one memorable vacation!

You must be a Disney vacation planner extraordinaire since you know about arranging a split stay at different Resort hotels and having your luggage transferred. Whenever I can, I will gladly let Mickey and his pals at Bell Services do the heavy lifting when it comes to moving our luggage for us...and it tends to be heavy lifting because I pack LOTS! I would say sorry, but I’m actually not sorry because I NEED wardrobe choices.

Bell Services will absolutely be able to assist you in transferring your luggage over from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel #1 to your Walt Disney World Resort #2. Just know that you must be present at the new Resort hotel to receive your luggage, so Bell Services will hold your luggage until you are available to receive it. Also, most luggage transfers are scheduled for the afternoon, so plan accordingly. We don't want a packed item to be missing in action when you need it!

I better tell you about my favorite sweet treat in all of Walt Disney World since you’ll be staying at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge: Zebra Domes are my guilty pleasure with chocolate ganache, coffee, and Kahlua flavors. This delicious decadent dessert can currently be purchased at The Mara

Teresa, as you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We’d love to help you!

    See ya real soon,
