Hey there, Alicia! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for visiting us with your question.
Alicia, the weather outside isn’t quite frightful in Florida during the holidays. But it can certainly be unpredictable! As a Florida Resident, I usually have something to cover the four seasons in the trunk of my car so I’m ready for a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort any day of the year. During the winter months, that includes a poncho, a coat, hat and gloves, and of course, my favorite pair of ears, because I can’t visit the parks without them!
My best advice is to come prepared. If your crew is cold-natured, the evenings can get chilly. Especially if it’s a tad windy. So, do have those jackets and winter gear handy. If they enjoy the cold, maybe shorts and sweatshirts will do! Check the forecast shortly before you depart and each morning while you’re here to see what you want to have with you. And if you end up overpacking, you can always
rent a locker at all four theme parks where you can store any gear that might be weighing you down. I personally rather have it than not and have a cold evening where you’re not feeling very merry at the most magical place on earth. You want to be warm and cozy while enjoying all the
pixie-dusted holiday fun throughout the resort during your visit.
I hope this information was helpful. Wishing you a very merry Christmas and an enchanted visit to the place where the magic is endless!
See ya real soon,
Emille ºoº
