We are going to Disney next week. I have a very picky 9 year daughter. Any hints on the best character dining for her. Thanks.

Heather, in only a week you will be zooming down Space Mountain and meeting Disney princesses!

A character meal that provides a bountiful buffet rather than a menu is perfect for pickier appetites. My family's favorite is Chef Mickey's for breakfast. Here you can meet the Disney Fab Five as nearby the monorail whizzes above your head and your daughter can choose from fruit, breakfast pizza, bacon, sausage, cereal, and many other delicious options. Who wouldn't want Mickey waffles with Mickey?

Other restaurants that offer a buffet and a character experience are the Magic Kingdom's Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends, 1900 Park Fare's Supercalifragilistic Breakfast where you may meet Tigger, Pooh, Mary Poppins, and Alice in Wonderland. The evening meal at 1900 Park Fare is the Cinderella Happily Ever After Dinner. More breakfast buffet options include classic Disney characters at Cape May Cafe, Hollywood and Vine's Disney Junior Play 'n Dine, and Stitch and Lilo at 'Ohana.

Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom with Donald, Mickey, and friends offers a buffet with more exotic, African flared items in case the grown ups in your family have a more adventurous palate. Ample chicken fingers, french fries, and typical kid choices are available for your daughter.
