Hi Tracie! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh Boy! There is so much to cover here and I want to make sure you and your family get to experience
The World's Most Magical Celebration next week! Currently, you need both a valid
Theme Park Ticket and a
Disney Park Pass Reservation to visit the four theme parks. First, check the
availability calendar to see which parks have openings on your desired dates. Got them? Good!
Grab your smartphone and open the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Click on the "+" sign located at the center bottom of the screen and tap "Buy Tickets and Passes." You can choose which ticket options work best for your family. Double-check that your Theme Park Tickets have been linked in the app by hitting the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner and selecting "Tickets and Passes." You should see your purchased tickets. If you do not, follow the prompts by selecting the "+" sign in the top right-hand corner under "Link Tickets & Passes." I highly suggest you immediately make Disney Park Pass Reservations by again tapping that bottom center "+" sign and this time choosing "Make a Park Reservation." Follow the instructions and submit. Now, you have secured both tickets and reservations for next week.
To enter the parks, you can set up a
Disney MagicMobile Digital Pass, collect a complimentary ticket card, or use active MagicBand from a previous trip. In the app, tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner and select "Disney MagicMobile" to set up a digital pass that can be loaded to your Apple Wallet, Apple Watch, or digital wallet. Feel free to stop by any ticket booth or the
DisneyTicket Center at Disney Springs for a ticket card. Please have a photo ID, proof of purchase, and original form of payment.
Whew! I hope you stayed with me through the nuts and bolts of navigating tickets, reservations, and entering the parks. Feel free to stop back by
planDisney anytime for further assistance.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
