Hi going to Disney next week and we are very excited but also confused about the weather and how to dress. It says about 68/69 by midday. Any suggestions? Thinking long pants for kids and T-shirt’s and bringing zip-ups. Thanks in advance.

    Hello Elisa!

Your trip is coming up quickly- you must be so excited! Packing for this time of the years can be a bit of a challenge. My advice is layers. You will likely start the day with a jacket and will need to shed it by mid-day only to add it back in the evening.  For this reason, one member of our party is always in charge of the backpack. Having one will make it easy to stow jackets or hoodies when they are not needed and just as easy to grab it if the evening brings a chill. I also suggest getting some inexpensive, disposable ponchos for the possible pop-up showers. Another option would be renting one of the lockers available at each of the Theme Parks and Water Parks.

With that said, Central Florida weather can be unpredictable. I would recommend packing your swimsuits and a couple pairs of shorts just in case.  Like the saying goes: If you don't like the weather in Florida, wait a few minutes...it is likely to change!

I hope you have a magical time at the Walt Disney World Resort!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
