i am going to disney next week. just booking today...how crowded in april. also what dinners will i want to book ? my girsl are 7 an 11...any proncess dinners? will i get any reservations a week ahead of time ?

    Hello Kristyn,

Last minute trips to the Walt Disney World Resort are so exciting but securing Advanced Dining Reservations at the last minute can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you're looking for Character Dining Experiences. April weather is wonderful, but the it tends to be a bit crowded in the Parks. It's typically one of the busiest months of the year at the Walt Disney World Resort. Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is in full swing by then, and it greatly increases the number of Park Guests.

My recommendation for a magical Princess Dining Experience is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot. If at first you are unable to make a Reservation, then I suggest that you keep checking for availability on the My Disney Experience app and the website. Reservations become available as people cancel them, so it's best to check frequently. You can also try walking up. Sometimes a restaurant can accommodate a walk up party, however, it' s a bit more difficult to do at some of the more popular restaurants. That said, there are so many fabulous Quick-Service Restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort that you are guaranteed a delicious meal no matter where you go! Here are my top picks for each Theme Park:

    Magic Kingdom Park:
Pinocchio Village Haus (If you grab a seat upstairs, you can enjoy a gorgeous view of Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and Cinderella Castle.)

    Disney's Hollywood Studios:
    Min and Bill's Dockside Diner

    Epcot:
    Sunshine Seasons

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
    Flame Tree Barbecue

    I hope this information helps!
