    Hello, we will be in Disney for New Years eve, just wondering if their is a midnight countdown in downtown Disney by the stage?

    Congratulations on your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! The 2012 New Year's Eve special events have not been announced yet. To learn about last year's offerings, please read HERE. You'll most definitely find a wide range of celebrations and special events taking place on New Year's Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort. In the Downtown Disney Area, there will be a New Year's Eve countdown and confetti drop at midnight during the New Year's Eve Party at DisneyQuest Interactive Theme Park.

     

    Do look into the special Holiday Dining options. Many Walt Disney World dining locations feature special menus during the holidays, and in particular for New Year's Eve. For instance, last year Epcot's World Showplace hosted Fantasia 2011, a tribute to the animated films, where sight and sound combined created a most memorable dining experience for Guests. For more details on special Holiday Dining events at the Walt Disney World Resort this year, please contact Disney Dining at (407) WDW-DINE.
