hello disney moms, i am very new to this so please be paitiant lol, my family will be visiting disney in aug 2013 but im unsure how to book , i have been to travel agents and have been given all the info , BUT , im not sure if i should book online instead

    Hi Tracy!

Your booking method will highly depend on your planning style. Some Guests prefer to have total control of their reservation whereas others would rather have someone else take care of the details. Some travel agents will include a booking bonus to sweeten the deal. Others are able to extend lower room rates. If you opt to book your Disney Vacation through a travel agency, be sure they specialize in booking Disney trips.

The 2013 rates have not yet been announced. However, if we follow general historical trends, the 2013 Rates and Packages will most likely be released sometime this Summer. If you opt to book your own Disney Vacation Package, I would strongly encourage you to check Disney's website from here on. Be sure to check the Disney Deals page and spend some time exploring the website in general. This will afford you the opportunity to determine if your dates qualify for any applicable discounts.

The good news is that you can make a "Room-Only" reservation 499 days in advance - with a non-guaranteed rate. To do that now simply call the Resort Room-Only bookings number at (407) 939-7429. You can always change the reservation to a Package after the 2013 rates are released. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.

Enjoy a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
