Selecting a MagicBand has become a fun part of vacation preparation for my family! From favorite characters, park attractions, and movies, to resort hotels, and special events, MagicBands allow Guests to “wear” what they love most about the Walt Disney World Resort!
New MagicBands are released at various times throughout the year. The places I look for MagicBands are on
shopDisney.com and in the Disney Parks and Disney Resort Hotels. I always try to find a MagicBand first on shopDisney.com. I like having my band in hand prior to travel. However, if I can’t find the perfect band online, then I wait until I arrive to try to find one in the hotel or parks. You can then link your new band to your account right away in your My Disney Experience app!
Nicole, Guests can now experience more interactions in the Disney Parks with the new
MagicBand+! My favorite feature of MagicBand+ is that the band will trigger some extra magic with the
Fab 50 Character Statues that were added to the Disney Parks during the 50th-anniversary celebration! Just wave that band in proximity to the statues and enjoy some Disney magic courtesy of MagicBand+! Of course, MagicBand+ offers all the convenient options such as park entry, charging privileges, and capturing your images on select attractions!
