Does Disney have or use any MSG(Mono-sodium Glutimate) in their food?

    Hello Mikayla!

Thanks for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's very important to the Disneyland Resort that guests have a variety of delicious and healthy dining options. I corresponded with the Disneyland Resort Special Diets Team and learned that MSG is not added to any of the many recipes created and prepared at the resort. Some food items manufactured outside of the Disneyland Resort may contain it. Note that should there be any question, you are always encouraged to speak with the chef or manager of the dining locations to learn more and receive the most current information. When making dining reservations, make sure to include a note with any allergy information and other special requests. For example, I'm one of those people who taste cilantro differently. So I sometimes add a note to request no added cilantro.

I hope you enjoy the many delicious offerings at the Disneyland Resort. On my most recent visit, I tried the Lobster Nachos at the Lamplight Lounge. They were a yummy, warm treat in the beautiful setting of Pixar Pier. I also loved the limited-time offerings during the Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration going on now. My favorite limited-time meal was the Sopes Trio from Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante.

    Bon appétit, Mikayla!
