Will the Disney Movie resort pool be open the end of March? If so, is it heated?

Hi, Teri, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's dive in to the topic of pools at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Here in the Sunshine State, we're pretty much used to having access to a swimming pool year-round, and Walt Disney World is no exception. You'll find the pools at the Resort hotels are open all year unless they're under refurbishment or there's a threat of severe weather. I checked the website, and it looks like the pools at Disney's All Star Movies Resort are indeed open and ready for you and your family to take a refreshing dip during your vacation!

Also, all of the pools at Walt Disney World are heated to a balmy 82 degrees, so you should find it to be a comfortable swim. Plus, late March can be nice and warm during the daytime, so that pool is going to feel great!

Hey Teri, if you really want to take your waterlogged fun up a notch, consider checking out Disney's Water Parks. Like the pools, you'll find at least one open year-round, and they're a great way to have some splash-tastic fun in the Florida sun!

I hope this helps your Walt Disney World vacation go just swimmingly, Teri! Please paddle on by again if you have any more questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
