Hello Disney Moms, Our trip to Disney this year includes both Grandmothers and a Great Aunt. All three have retired in the last 4 months (November, January and February). Any ideas for a special way to celebrate these lovely ladies and their retirements?

    Hello Karen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations to your family! A visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to celebrate this wonderful occasion!

You can start celebrating right away by ordering a customized gift from the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts. Dream Makers can put together a marvelous gift just perfect for your occasion and have it waiting in your Resort room upon arrival. You can order by calling (407)939-4438.

Another magical way to celebrate is by booking a reservation at Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party. You'll enjoy a delicious dessert buffet and an amazing view of Cinderella's Castle and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks show. An Event Party Ticket is required as well as Park admission. Advance Reservations are highly recommended and can be made 180 days prior to your visit.

I would also recommend a few Dining Experiences. One of my favorites is breakfast at Cape May Cafe in Disney's Beach Club Resort. You'll get to meet classic Disney Characters and dine on an "all-you-care-to-eat" assortment of scrumptious breakfast fare. Hello, Mickey waffles!  Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is another favorite. The Hawaiian-style feast at dinner is fantastic!

    Enjoy Your Magical Celebration,
