HI Disney Mom's:My family and I are traveling to Disney in about 10 days and my main concern is eating healthy. We are trying to eat organic, mainly veggies.I am concerned about the quick service meals. Is there a list of places that offer healthy options?

    Hi Liz,

WDW has taken great strides to offer healthier options for families that wish to adhere to their special diets while on vacation. Of course, there's an abundance of tempting treats but you can find healthy eats even at the counter-service locations. If you don't see a healthy option, ask a cast member for suggestions.

At kiosks, look for carrots and celery sticks. Counter-service eateries usually offer a salad. Customize yours to your liking. For instance, at Flame Tree Barbecue in the Animal Kingdom, there is Barbecued Chicken Salad offered. Ask for a salad without the chicken! Many places will be able to accommodate your vegetarian diet. Counter-service restaurants that offer quick-service meals for special diets are found in each park.

Feel free to contact the Special Diets department at SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com via email with any concerns.

And we're happy to help with any more questions that you might have!
