D’day, Narelle!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family and I once made a one-day detour before a
Disney Cruise Line vacation just to see the “spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination, in thousands of sparkling lights and electro-syntho-magnetic musical sounds: The
Main Street Electrical Parade!” I’m so glad we didn’t miss this nostalgic favorite! I think you are going to love this
special parade as seen from your reserved viewing location, a part of your
Plaza Inn Dining Package experience.
I also love the
Halloween Screams nighttime spectacular. Jack Skellington knows how to host a show! Speaking of Jack, if you want the best view of the “Master of Scare-omonies” during Halloween Screams, I suggest making your way from Main Street, U.S.A. toward the Central Plaza area, sometimes referred to as “the Hub.” Take a look at the image for Halloween Screams that shows up in the
Disneyland app. To find it, tap the magnifying glass icon to search for the term “
Halloween.” Then tap into the information page for Halloween Screams. Look for Jack’s large, grinning face in the accompanying photo. That’s where he appears up during the show. If you position yourself so you can see that space over
Sleeping Beauty Castle, you’ll have a great view of the show. If you don’t happen to have an opportunity to make it to a place in the Central Plaza, don’t worry.
Projections and special effects will still be visible from Main Street, U.S.A. Be sure to keep an eye out for Zero, Jack’s loyal pet, flying overhead too!
Have a magical time, Narelle!
