Greetings, Vicky!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad you stopped by with your question about using Disney transportation with mobile scooters. One of the things I love most about The Most Magical Place on Earth is the dedication to providing a great experience for all Guests. It looks as if your trip is just a few days away! So let's go over all the details so you can finish your magical countdown with confidence.
Guests using an ECV (mobile scooter) are accommodated by
all modes of Disney Transportation! If you are using a Disney bus, you will use the marked accessible lane while waiting. When the bus arrives, a friendly Cast Member will assist you with getting on the bus and securing your scooter for the ride. You can even remain on your ECV for the trip. The Disney Monorail, Skyliner, and ferryboats/water taxis will all offer similar experiences. You plan with ease, knowing all modes of Disney Transportation can get you to your next magical destination, along with your scooter! You will not be able to board a parking lot tram on your ECV, but you will be able to
use designated parking for Guests with disabilities. And while we are on the topic of planning with a scooter in mind, be sure to check out the
Guests with Disabilities Overview! This is your go-to site for planning a Disney adventure with a scooter in mind!
If you're looking for a ride sprinkled with pixie dust,
consider using a Minnie Van! Disney Minnie Vans get you to your destination with ease, polka dot style, and door-to-door service. I love using a Minnie Van at the end of a full day of Magic Kingdom fun. You get picked up right near the exit and dropped off at the entrance of your hotel in no time at all. It may just be the best mode of transportation ever!
Accessible Minnie Vans can be ordered through the Lyft app, and this might just become your new favorite way to get around Walt Disney World.
We'll see ya real soon!
