Hi there, Erin!
Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your service. A visit to Walt Disney World Resort in the fall brings celebrating at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, trick-or-treating at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, cooling off at
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and so much more.
Military members with a 100% service-connected disability can most definitely receive discounts on stays at Disney Resorts Collection hotels. You’ll want to call the
phone number listed on this webpage to book your discounted stay. You can use this offer most nights from now until December 20, 2024 for a maximum of 14 nights. Some Resort hotels are excluded from this offer, like Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and a valid military ID is needed at check-in for verification.
Disney Military Salute Tickets, which you can also find listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website, are offered to military service members who are active duty, reservists, retired, or have a 100% disability rating. You can purchase these multi-day tickets at a U.S. military base ticket office or at
Shades of Green, an Armed Forces Recreation Center near Magic Kingdom Park. You’re good to go in that department, too, Erin! At the moment, my own military family has
annual passes to The Most Magical Place on Earth, so we haven’t taken advantage of the theme park ticket deals. But I love that Disney salutes veterans in special ways like this.
AN EXTRA GEM: When you visit Walt Disney World in September, keep in mind that you can also get a special discount on
Memory Maker, which is a practically perfect purchase that allows you to capture your crew’s vacation memories. Your Disney PhotoPass and cool on-ride photos will populate in your
My Disney Experience App as you go about your days. It’s a great way to relive moments long after your trip is over. And as an extra, extra gem: That Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that I mentioned? You can purchase discounted tickets for this via Shades of Green as well.
Erin, if you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions,
give us a holler here at planDisney. Any one of the panelists will be more than happy to help.
Magic always,
LeAndra
