I see Disney Very Merriest goes on sale on 8/20. Does that mean just after midnight? I am just wondering if I need to stay up late or get up early to buy tickets. Thank you!!

Hello Jennifer! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! At least it is on the Walt Disney World Resort website!

Tickets are currently on sale for the Disney Very Merriest After Hours event at Magic Kingdom Park! I just took a quick look at the site and, as of the posting of this answer, it appears that all dates are still available to purchase!

Jennifer, as a helpful tip, be sure to remember that your Disney Very Merriest After Hours ticket actually allows you to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 7:00 PM. That’s two hours prior to the official start of the holiday merriment! I strongly recommend you take full advantage of that perk! That early admission will also give you the opportunity to see the brand new Disney Enchantment nighttime show in honor of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Walt Disney World Resort! Go get those tickets!

Also, you don’t need a separate Magic Kingdom park ticket nor do you need a Disney Park Pass reservation for the event! All you need is your After Hours ticket and the Christmas spirit and you’ll be ready for a great evening of holiday-themed fun with Mickey and his pals!
