Contemporary Resort Pool

    Disney media has continued to say that the pool at the contemporary hotel will re-open at the beginning of April. It is now past the beginning of April. What is the updated timeframe for the reopening of that pool?

    Oh boy! You're less than ten days out from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I hope you and your family are counting down the days until it arrives! 

    I have great news for you! The main pool at Disney's Contemporary Resort has reopened. I'm currently visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and I was able to confirm this information with one of the friendly Cast Members at the front desk. They were able to call the resort to make sure. 

    I'm happy that you will be able to utilize this during your trip. This pool is surrounded by white, sandy beaches and has a fun, curving waterslide that is great for Guests of all ages. There are also poolside cabanas that you can rent by the hour if you prefer a private space to relax when not swimming. The cabanas are perfect for an extended pool day!

    If you are looking for more fun in the water, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is open and operating. My family had the best time here recently and it was a great change of pace to the theme parks. Between the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool to Miss Adventure Falls, there are attractions that the entire family will enjoy. If you're traveling with little ones, Ketchakiddee Creek is perfect for splashing around and exploring.
