HI, we are going to Disney in May and have a 3yr old somewhat picky eater. I was wondering if you could recommend your top "counter service" restuarants choices in each park? Thx

Hi Rachel!  Thanks for your question - I know feeding picky little ones can be a challenge, so I applaud you for wanting to be prepared with some go-to options for feeding your child.  I'm assuming that like most picky eaters, yours would prefer to have chicken nuggets, burgers, hot-dogs, fries or pizza -the standard diet of most picky kids!  At Disney's Animal Kingdom your best bets will be Pizzafari or Restaurantosaurus.  At Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would recommend Toy Story Pizza Planet or Backlot Express.  At Epcot, hands down, the best counter service restaurant is Sunshine Seasons located inside The Land.  The mac & cheese or pizza panini are both great options for kids there.  Finally, at Magic Kingdom I highly recommend Be Our Guest restaurant for their quick-service lunch.  While the kids menu is not quite as "picky-eater-friendly", if you can find something your child would eat it really is such a great place to dine - you will be dining in an exact replica of Beast's castle from Beauty and the Beast.  If you don't think that would go over very well, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe offers all of the picky eater standby's with some really good other options for Mom & Dad.  The addition of an animatronic character, Sonny Eclipse, who entertains with silly songs and jokes, makes it very appealing to kids as well.

I hope these options will be helpful to you Rachel - I would be more than happy to answer any more questions you may have while planning your Walt Disney World vacation.  Have a magical day!
