We are going to Disney May and staying at the Saratoga Springs in a one bedroom villa. I was just wondering what area of the resort would be the best to stay at. We want to be close to the pool & restaurant area but not to close - noise & traffic.

Hi Rob, You have chosen a beautiful Resort for your Disney World vacation! We are Disney Vacation Club Members and our home resort is Saratoga Springs.

Our favorite area is called "Congress Park". Many of the rooms have views of Downtown Disney. In addition, they are just a short walk from the Carriage House area. I believe it  takes us about 5-7 minutes (leisurely pushing a stroller) to get to the Carriage House which houses the check-in, High Rock Spring (main) Pool, Spa and Fitness Center, boat dock, restaurants and more. Congress Park also has a pedestrian walkway to Downtown Disney and a great pool of its own.

Be sure to make reservations for dinner at the Turf Club Bar and Grill, it is one of Disney Dining's hidden gems! The meals we've had there are always fantastic.

Enjoy your time at Saratoga Springs and have a Magical Vacation!
