Hi there, I am going to Disney in May and staying at CB. I noticed that they do head wraps. Question #1, is that the head full of braids and Question #2, how much does it cost? Thank you. Your column gave me lots of wonderful advice.

    Hi Tracy,

Yes, they do hair wraps (or braids) by the pool area at most of the Walt Disney World Resorts (or some have hair salons that provide this service as well).  The hair wrap station at the Caribbean Beach Resort is located by the Old Port Royale Pool.  I have never used this service for myself or my daughter but I do know of others who have enjoyed having these braids put in while at Walt Disney World.  I have a friend that had this done on her daughter this past June and she told me that the braids cost $2.00 per inch (plus the cost of beads...if you would like them).  Her daughter had her full head done in braids (without beads) and with shoulder length hair she said it cost approximately $50.00 and took approximately 3 1/2 hours.  This is a very popular service and I think most guests that I have seen doing this just have a few braids inserted while there are those "others" that go for the full effect and have the whole head done.  Please keep in mind that prices are subject to change and this information I am giving comes from "word of mouth" and I can't confirm 100% as I have never done this before.  The cost and time it will take will also depend on the thickness and length of your hair.  I hope you have a magical time at the Caribbean Beach Resort....you will LOVE the newly renovated/remodeled Old Port Royal Pool!

    Best wishes,
