We are going to Disney in May 2017. I do not plan to ride rides. I understand we get 3 Fast Passes a day. Can my husband use my Fast Passes?

    Hey, Jessica!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. May 2017 is going to be spectacular. You are smart to begin the planning now. This is a great question because not everyone enjoys theme park attractions but are still allowed to make FastPass+ reservations.

The official answer is no because FastPass+ reservations are shared by all Guests and specifically assigned to a Guest's theme park ticket. Each time you touch your admission card or MagicBand to a FastPass+ touchpoint a Cast Member sees the name of the Guest on a screen. This is a safety measure to ensure that someone is not intentionally or inappropriately using another Guest's MagicBand/admission card.

My suggestion is that you make your own FastPass+ reservations and at each attraction discuss your situation with the Cast Member at the FastPass+ entrance touchpoints. They will be the ones to allow your husband entrance to the attraction. I would be very surprised if they prevented him from experiencing the attraction with your FastPass+ reservation.

Disney Dad Tip: Another option is to choose attractions you both will enjoy that are not thrill or heavy motion experiences. There are FastPass+ options like Broadway-style stage shows, nighttime experiences and slow moving attractions that are fantastic for kids of all ages.

Jessica, enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
